Grace Shields, Equestrian Tack Box (STUDENT 2021)

This is my HSC Furniture Major Project, which is titled 'Equestrian Tack Box', as it will store numerous equestrian items for competitions and shows. It is predominantly made of Tasmanian oak, with dovetail joints on the main carcass sides, finger joints on the 'removable brush boxes', and miter joints on the lid corners. It contains five hooks, an interchangeable net, and a small curved storage area. There are laser-cutting designs on the front face and also on the lid which represents the equestrian lifestyle.
