What truly sets the Devine Bench apart is its subtle yet striking ‘D’ design element—the side profile which spells out the word "Devine". This not only adds charm but also serves as a homage to the craftsman’s family name. Its Art Nouveau style adds a touch of sophistication and nostalgia, while remaining refreshingly contemporary. Crafted from solid Tasmanian Oak, renowned for its durability and rich natural hues, the Devine Bench embodies elegance in every curve and contour. The piece has been finished with 12 coats of Scandinavian oil and a light teak stain to enhance and unify the timber’s grain and colour. The artisan has sustainably made use of B-grade timber, rather than discarding imperfect pieces. The clever use of the brass inlays to cover some of the unsightly imperfections has elevated imperfection to an eye-catching feature.
