The desk has been inspired by Art-Deco patterns and lines, the solid forms and plays of soft shapes with hard geometries. The Cove Desk design looks to compete against the over abundance of floating table top desk/table designs with a blunt edge that chamfers gradually and softly on the edges. The exterior design concave cuts are also implemented on the interior of the legs to reveal the soft taper when looking in and thin the legs. The table is made from Tasmanian Blackwood due to the multifaceted way the grain plays with light and adds depth to the desk.
