A chess set made from English walnut and sycamore sourced locally. Characterful, gender-fluid pieces inhabit this temple-like dwelling. The box contains a piston-fit carriage to store the pieces. Taking inspiration from ancient temple architecture the entire box emulates a sacred space, a place for deep contemplation when these small warriors are amidst an intense battle.
