Stephanie Xoueisomphong, Cherry Sideboard (Furniture)

As an amateur woodworker, this was my biggest and most complex project to date. The body is made of solid American cherry timber with grain "waterfalling" on the sides. Birch plywood was used for drawers and backing. Cherry veneer on poplar plywood for drawer fronts and door. Drawers and door are push-to-open to maintain a handleless look.
