Handcut Marquetry/95 x 64 cm/2021, the picture shows a "usual" nocturnal butterfly. By realizing it with this traditional handcraft I want to call the attention of the viewer and invite to a closer look. Those unseen insects have their own beauty and are worth protecting. In addition I like the idea of making their surface out of the material they like to imitate to be unseen. Wood.
