My Cathederal Hall Table was inspired by the magnificent gothic arches I’ve see in churches and cathedrals while travelling around Europe. While stained glass wasn’t an option, I wanted to capture the gothic arch shape in a furniture piece. The cross over arch at the bottom was designed to align exactly, and disappears into, it the side arch when viewed side on. The table is made from Rock Maple and Australian Cedar.
