I let the wood guide me on this design, very few sketches were involved. The top is made with air dried Missouri walnut that my dad milled up in the 80s. The carcase is made with Italian olive wood veneer. The panels and feet are solid ebony. I’m happy to report that I kept this desk, and use it daily.
