Bryan Cush, Cache Box (BOWLS, BOXES 2021)

'Cache' features an inlaid brass star-map in it's lid which is customised to match the exact time, date and geographical location of the birth of the client's daughter. On the underside of the box there is a concealed time-capsule tray which will be revealed to their daughter when she turns 21. The box is crafted from NSW White Mahogany with Red Gum spline detailing and premium leather lining. The main compartment is fitted with a brass lock and the slimline, time-capsule tray is accessed by turning 4 grub screws on the base which disengages the bond of the concealed, rare-earth magnets that firmly hold the tray in place. ​
