The EBELYPSE cabinet is an exceptional piece of furniture made with high cabinetmaking techniques. This piece of furniture required several hundred hours of work. Its slender design, its curves, its proportions are the result of a search for perfection. The woods used for the exterior marquetry, Macassar ebony, from trees fallen following typhoons in the islands of South East Asia, recovered during semi-decomposition and sorted to recover the most beautiful pieces, offer unique and exceptional colors. Gabon ebony for its black color was chosen to discreetly underline the lines of the furniture. The top marquetry is inspired by tortoiseshell. The marquetry of the doors made in volume, is inspired by the scales of the cobra. The feet are underlined by scales inspired by the underside of the cobra. The interior with organic shapes, made of curly maple wood, includes two drawers.
