Alexsandra Pontonio, Boxkite (CHESTS, CABINETS, SHELVING 2021)

A full-sized shelving unit and cabinet. Looking for a certain feeling of lightness, this piece was designed whilst delving into images of box kites and biplanes. Tasmanian blackwood and dowel-tensioned natural linen for the cabinet doors.
