Stephen Hawker, Blackwood Hall Stand (TABLES, CHAIRS, DESKS 2021 )

Built to fit client’s tight hallway, made from Victorian Blackwood. (L 1200mm, D 350mm, H 800mm) Constructed with floating tenons, hand cut dove tails and subtle leg tappers; designed with a continuous grain from the left apron through the draw fronts, wrapping around the piece. Draw apron design challenge - to maximise the draw width and height and the inclusion of soft close draw slides, draw dimensions: L 464mm, D 250mm, H 75mm. Finished with Livos KUNOS Natural Oil Sealer
