A blackwood table - one of a run designed for limited production. Five have been produced so far – two in Tasmanian blackwood and three in Tasmanian black heart sassafras. These are designed as an ode to the forests that sustain us. Each is unique. Different in the random "cracked ice" veneer patterning of the tops and material. Each leg is made of three different angles, part (insertion) laminated from the top and joined on a taper. The "branches" are then cut at angle to establish a pleasing stance.
