A stand for formal bonsai display. The steam bent oxidized white oak leg frames a natural edge cherry burl accent. The natural edge of the cherry burl evokes the extreme natural forces that shape the bonsai tree. Though the stand appears delicate a forged iron rod is impeded in the curved leg to allow it to support over 150lbs without sagging.
