The Benson Long Bench is characteristic of Two Blue Boys unique and evocative style. Constructed of locally sourced native silky oak, the bench features black-stained legs and rosewood inlay on the benches surface. Inspired by rock formations, the bench top has been carved with a vesicular, pitted texture to echo the eroding cliffside structures typical of a coastal landscape. The oak top features inlays and bowties for both structural and aesthetic considerations – adding further intrigue to the already eye-catching bench slab. Stained in a black finish, the bench legs juxtapose the dimpled bench top and melt into the background, allowing the signature pitted texture to remain the hero. The legs have been joined using fluted mortise and tenons. Dimensions: 2800x870x490mm
