The dresser was born from a moment that was both amusing and unexpected. I was working on a plastic prototype of a completely different piece of furniture when my daughter, seeing it, decided to use it as a chair. This transformed some straight lines into soft, sinuous curves, inspiring the final design. The piece is crafted from Okumé, veneered in walnut, with a front strip that has been steam-bent. The curved drawers are laminated in 2 mm ash, designed to fit perfectly with the upper drawers, creating a harmonious effect. Blum guides are used for the drawers, ensuring smooth and silent opening and closing, adding a touch of refinement to the user experience. The drawer fronts and legs, both made of solid walnut, have been carefully designed: the legs are shaped like a cradle, embracing the dresser and giving it a unique, enveloping appearance. It is a unique piece of furniture, both for its shape and the way this shape was discovered. It is therefore a very special dresser to me, one that holds a story of creativity and affection.
