Reclaimed Australian Timber Shelving Unit Materials used are recycled red gum fence posts and polished OSB. I believe there is enough existing timber out there that is ready to be salvaged and reworked in to new modern pieces that don't have to look like 'recycled' timber. Sustainability is always at the forefront of my designs but I don't let it constrain me. I like the texture, warmth and contrast of OSB and after putting through a process and polish it really becomes a new material of it's own and almost gives a 'burl wood' effect with the depth achieved. Archie combines form and function, a storage solution designed to be a platform worthy of showcasing your prized possessions. The choice of contrasting but harmonious materials and colours means that it adds interest to a room while still being an effective platform to display and highlight a collection, whether it's used as a bookcase or room divider.
