Fountain pen storage/display box. Dimensions are 18" wide x 18" high x 13" deep closed, and 37.5" wide x 21.5" high x 13" deep when opened. It holds 8 cantilevered trays with spaces for 82 pens. The body is turned from shop-made mango plywood, the hinges and feet are ebony, the door pulls are laser-engraved boxwood, and the trays are redwood burl. The pen compartments are lined with black velvet upholstery fabric. Otherwise, the box is made entirely of wood, including the hinges.
