Made for some of my oldest friends, this piece was designed "After Aled's Aran", with his blessing (or forgiveness) obtained afterwards too! During my year at Sturt I rediscovered my love of geometry, and particularly enjoyed exploring the strength and beauty of triangles. The concept began with the end view, as one would see walking into a house, and “stretched” into a complete table for keys and perhaps a vase. Despite its delicate appearance, the piece is remarkably stable and I hope brightens my friends' Melbourne home. Silver Ash sustainably sourced by Kirby Fine Timbers.
