Alexander Hill, 365 piece segmented hollow form (STUDENT 2022)

This hollow form is made of 365 segments including the two captured rings on the end of the finial (the captured rings have been turned as a part of the finial using dental tools to get between the ring and finial). The form is made of seven types of wood, Ebony, spalted ash, purple heart, Victorian ash, Jatoba, rose wood and Padauk. The form stands about 84mm tall and 48mm in diameter at its widest.
