Video: unlocking The Podium puzzle cabinet

US designer maker Craig Thibodeau is a modern day master of puzzle or mechanical furniture. A snapshot of his latest creation, its internal and external workings are demonstrated in the video shown below.

“Designed along a ‘Quest for the Holy Grail’ concept, the podium hides a golden chalice from the solver until a series of sequential puzzles have been solved. The chalice then rises from inside the podium automatically.”
