Toyota has just unveiled its Setsuna wooden car concept at Milan Design Week. The car is fully functioning and apparently constructed with traditional Japanese joinery methods.
The Setsuna Measures 3,030 mm long, 1,480 mm wide and 970 mm tall concept, with a 1,700 mm long wheelbase. Setsuna means "moment" in Japanese. Handmade from cedar, birch and zelkova, no glue, no fasteners, it appears to be a masterpiece – but don't expect to see it in production.
Here’s a sneak peek.
