Studio Woodworkers Symposium 2025: tickets now available

Tickets are now available for Studio Woodworkers Australia’s 2025 SWA Symposium 2025. Studio Woodworkers Australia is Australia’s peak body for designer makers in wood and offers accreditation and general membership for woodworkers, designers, and makers.

SWA Symposium 2025 presents a program of engaging discussions, industry-based speakers and opportunities to connect with fellow attendees. The symposium is billed as ‘a three-day celebration of craftsmanship, collaboration, and creativity’ which will take place at JamFactory, Adelaide from 7–9 November, includes a tour to the Barossa region on 9 November and a following week-long masterclass with Ross Annels. An exhibition of work by SWA members will run concurrently at JamFactory.

Symposium speakers include Peter Walker, Paul Haar, Rhys Jones, Adam Markowitz, Evan Dunstone, Gray Hawk and Andrew Carvolth who will lead discussions exploring topics such as collaboration, sustainability, business growth, and individual practice.

Studio tours on 8 November will provide behind-the-scenes access to Jam Factory, Mixed Goods and Gray Hawk Design as well as floor talks from exhibiting makers. The Symposium exhibition will feature works from leading Australian designer makers, showcasing the beauty and innovation of contemporary woodworking. A Friday night dinner for attendees will offer opportunities for networking and further connection.
