Pine

I have designed and constructed a queen sized bed frame with eight drawers made from Australian pine. The purpose and design of my bed is to create maximum storage, around eight hundred litres, and to make optimum use of the space in my room at home. Using strong forty five degree butt joints glued and screwed into a rebate at the top and bottom of each leg post, strengthening the structural integrity of the piece also giving a flush and solid look. All the screws are screwed internally to give a screw less and clean look from the exterior.
