Now open for entry! Maker of the Year 2022

Maker of the Year 2022, presented by Carbatec, is officially now open for entry!

Maker of the Year awards are open to woodworkers all over the world. As a global online platform for seeing and enjoying an incredible array of fine furniture, boxes and artworks, Maker of the Year is unique, and we invite you to include your work!

Our fabulous prize pool is valued at $23,000, including $10,000 cash. The awards are open to Australian and New Zealand woodworkers, with a World category for international makers. Amateur, professional and student woodworkers may enter.

Aside from an even richer prize pool, this year’s Maker of the Year presented by Carbatec carries some extra awards.

The Student category now offers separate awards for secondary and tertiary students, while the World category offers two separate awards for Furniture and Art & Objects. 

To enter, all you have to do is upload 5 images of your piece along with a description. Entry and all the information is here.

All entries go live on the Wood Review website, and many will also feature on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
