Jack Harper completed his Office Chair at Gippsland Grammar, Sale, Victoria during his Unit 1/2 VCE/VET Furnishing course 2015. The chair was completed on the 11th of November. He is 17 years of age and constructed the chair from Victorian ash, sustainably sourced form a timber mill in Bairnsdale. The chair stands 1100 mm high is 600 mm wide and 550 mm deep. The only machine used was a bandsaw and domino machine, from then on all hand tools were used to refine the joints (spoke shaves, files rasps etc).
