For this project I designed a Federation Style Jewellery Cabinet. The cabinet was constructed for my Year 12 major project in IT Timber. I had planned to have several drawers a sliding necklace rack covered by glass panel doors.  The joints used were half blind dovetails, large and small through dovetails, dowelling joint, sliding dovetail and style and rail joint with fielded panel. I finished the project with a satin proof varnish and a clear wax.
