My aim was to design and construct a grandfather clock that manages to suit a traditional federation styled house and was also capable of settling in with more modern styles. When designing I considered the complexity of the top and bottom in attempt to keep it visually balanced. The final product has been heavily influenced by a variety of other clocks and features, taking in this inspiration a grandfather clock was moulded to complement the mechanism.
