Golden anniversary exhibitions: 50 years JamFactory
JamFactory, South Australia is celebrating 50 years of supporting and promoting craft and design. Located in Adelaide’s West End Creative Precinct, with a secondary site at Seppeltsfield in the Barossa. JamFactory is a not-for-profit organisation supported by the South Australian Government and is recognised as a centre for excellence.
Studios in ceramics, glass, furniture, and jewellery/metal provide a two year programs for artists and designers, as well as independent studio spaces. JamFactory’s exhibition and retail spaces showcase contemporary Australian craft practice and offer a range of collectible craft and design.
A 50th anniversary program called 50 years 50 JamFactory opened on July 21 and includes exhibitions and events that feature works by alumni in various media.

GOLD: 50 Years 50 JamFactory runs until September 17 and celebrates the history and achievements of JamFactory’s Associate Program through the work of 50 of its most outstanding alumni.

Materials with Meaning will feature works suggestive of materials detailed in the traditional anniversary gift giving list. Featured artists include Georgie Brooks, Michelle Cangiano, Sonja Clark, Jasmin Jones, Maricor/Maricar, Liz Payne, Benjamin Reddan, Roshni Senapati, Carly Tarkari Dodd, Amy Joy Watson and Andy Nowell.
