I am currently a Year 11 student at Nagle Catholic College and have just completed a solid jarrah day bed on the 24th November, 2014.

My bed has a natural edge around the top with curved legs. These were shaped with a router and template. Whilst making my day bed I used dowels to connect all slats to frame, wood screws and joint bolts so that the bed can be assembled and disassembled. I used colour guard rejuvenating oil for my finish.
