Australia's premier exhibition event of art from the lathe will be on display from June 17 to 19.
The organisers report that this year's Australian Woodturning Exhibition will be the largest display to date with 368 pieces on show. Entries have been received from across Australia from some of the finest woodturners in the southern hemisphere represented.
Venue: Waratah Rooms, Whitehorse Centre, 397 Whitehorse Road, Nunawading, Victoria.
Dates and times:
Friday 17th June, 10am-6pm
Saturday 18th June, 10am-5pm
Sunday 19th June, 10am-4pm
The competition offers a range of categories for all levels of experience including school students. Categories include vessels, bowls, platters, identical pairs, wood art, functional items, miniatures, pens and ornamental work.
The awards ceremony will take place at 4.10pm on Sunday, June 19.
