Adelaide's JamFactory has announced a prestigious new award for furniture designers.
The aim is to raise the profile of Australian designers. The rewards are a $20,000 cash prize, product distribution through Stylecraft showrooms in Australia and Singapore, acquisition of work by the Gallery of South Australia, as well as a residency at the JamFactory and the mentoring that goes with that.
The judges are Jon Goulder, Creative Director Furniture Studio, Jamfactory, Tony Russell, National Product & Brand Manager, Stylecraft, Rosina Di Maria, Principal, Woods Bagot, Nick Mitzevich, Director, Art Gallery Of South Australia, Fenella Kernebone, Presenter By Design, ABC Radio National.
