Artist residency opportunities for Queenslanders

JamFactory and Artisan Qld have partnered to offer an artist residency for a mid-career or established Queensland furniture designer.

This residency is designed to promote mastery, expand professional networks and knowledge, while supporting the creation and exhibition of new works. With the support of Arts Queensland, the body of work produced will be exhibited at artisan with the possibility of touring.

The four to six week residency will include accommodation, studio space, an artist fee (to cover daily expenses), return flights/travel from Queensland to the residency, documentation during the residency and exhibition at artisan and related events. Apply by 14 February 14 – learn more.

In addition another residency opportunity exists for a regional Queensland craft and design practitioner to travel to Brisbane and undertake a residency. All craft and design practitioners based in Queensland are eligible to apply.
