VIDEO: Making a rotating dovetail joint, part 1

For Alex Peay, making the ‘rotating dovetail’ joint that he first saw in his mind’s eye wasn’t just about joinery. It was also a symbolic turning point in his life that has now taken him on a creative path.

Alex uses the rotating dovetail for his Doberman chair design, and shares the process of making it in this video, the first of a series.
