Tasmanian oak and treated pine

My client’s house is mainly furnished with modern furniture and eye catching wooden products with a splash of Traditional art pieces. The majority of the wooden products are made from old oak and finally polished pine. The theme holds a great deal of significance to Bryan so it was important keep within the oak theme. Oak was therefore the main timber used for the welsh dresser. Bryan also has an appreciation for Celtic themed pieces which lead to some other possibilities. Different machines, various tools and hand processes (mortise and tenons) were involved in the crafting of the product.
