Sturt’s world-class Wood School, training Australia’s future fine furniture makers and designers since 1985, will soon celebrate the graduation of its 2019 students and the opening of their end of year exhibition in Sturt Gallery.

Entry to the school is now highly competitive requiring exceptional commitment from the lucky “twelve” students that are selected each year. Prepare to be blown away by the volume and quality of the work that will be on display in this important exhibition showcasing emerging talent.

The end of year exhibition is supported by woodworking industry leaders including; Timberbits, Studio Woodworkers Australia, Colen Clenton, HNT Gordon, Japanese Tools, Gifkins Dovetail, Felder Group, Dunstone Design, Jim Davey Woodworking and Lie-Nielsen Tools.

The 2019 graduation and exhibition opening will take place at 11am on Saturday 23 November with special guest Luis Nheu, Partner BSPN Architecture.
