The sun lounge was designed with wheels for portability, a slide-out side table and adjustable backrest. The seat slats were attached to the side rails using domino joints and the legs with mortise and tenons. The wheels and a pivot rod for the backrest were turned on the lathe, The table slides under the seat slats into a recess in the side rails, disappearing when not in use. The table is well balanced and has stoppers to prevent it sliding out. The assembled lounge was finished with outdoor furniture oil and the wheels attached with stainless steel fittings.
