Jarrah

The brief was to build a coffee table with 5 drawers, 2 large and 3 small. It was to construct it to the highest standard and quality and this was one of the reasons for choosing a high quality timber in Jarrah. The methods used in construction were dovetail joints and through housing in the drawers. The joining of timbers to make the panel pieces, biscuit joints were used. The front frame used domino joints and to join the rails and front frame to the legs I used mortise and tenon joints. The coffee table is complimented with a Mirotone spray finish.
